Mayor of Cessnock, Cr. Alison Davey has confirmed that Cessnock City Council has made an offer of employment for the position of General Manager with the organisation.
"It gives me great pleasure to announce that Ms. Lea Rosser has accepted the position of General Manager with Cessnock City Council and she will bring with her a wealth of experience gained in local government, public service and private enterprise."
Ms. Rosser has worked extensively in local government, primarily in metropolitan and regional councils and most recently worked with the Sydney Catchment Authority. She is a former General Manager of Canada Bay and Auburn City Councils and has worked in local government in varying roles for more than 30 years.
"Ms Rosser has an outstanding reputation and I look forward to welcoming her to Cessnock when she joins Council on Tuesday, October 5," Cr. Davey said.
