Cessnock Hornets first grade swung back into the winners' circle with a 4-1 victory over Wallsend at The Gardens on Sunday.
Two first half goals from Jeremie Morton made it 2-1 at half time with Brodie Wells adding one in the second with Morton claiming his hat-trick later on.

The Under-19's overcame an early setback to record an exciting 5-3 victory. Andrew Chalker scored two as did Mitchell Cox with Josh Bower adding to the tally. Flanagan's Menswear Player's Player was Brodie Egan.
Cessnock host Adamstown at Turner Park on Sunday with Under-19's at 11am, reserve grade 12.45pm and first grade 2.30pm.
