Due to Anzac Day falling on bowling day, there will be no bowls this week. Bowls will resume the following Wednesday, May 2. The draw for the next round of singles championships is N. Nicholls v T. Jory, marker P. Matthews, J. Del-Degan v D. Huth, marker A. Scott, N. Loosemore v J. McKim, marker R. Gillespie. Winners from this week’s social bowls were H. Kirby, L. Corcoran and S. Sneesby, F. Charlton, E. Jessop and J. Rumford. A reminder that annual fees are due the last Wednesday in May. The list for triples championships is on the board with the cut-off date 9.30am June 6. There will be no bowls played today, Anzac Day. Social bowls next Wednesday, names by 9.30am for 10am start. Entries are on the board for club fours, closing date April 26, play to start on May 10. Entries for club triples close May 24, play to start June 14. Entries are on the board for the Coal Board fours, closing date July 6, play to commence on August 10. Entries on board for Marsh Fours, closing date August 3, play to commence on August 24. As from Thursday May 10, the bowls day has been changed and members will now be playing on Thursday mornings, names to be in by 9.30am for 10am start. The bowls meeting will be held on May 10 after bowls. Club fees are now due and have to be paid by May 31. The final of the club major singles will be played this Friday, April 27, at 12pm.
