HUNTER DISTRICT WOMEN
Congratulations to all the 29 teams who competed the State Triples (HRD Level) especially to the top two teams. Winners: Dawn Brady, Michelle Niznik and Heidi Mungoven (s) of Maitland City; runners-up Joy Jeffrey, Jean Paviour-Smith and Rhonda Murray(s) of Lorn Park. Both teams received monetary awards and the overall winners also received their District Triple badges. The presentation was made by HRD President Wanda Bedford. The finalists also received special gifts from the Match Committee.
Semi-Finalists: Susan O’Neill, Lynette Strickleton and Pat Mears were defeated by the other Maitland City team; Gladys Nichols, Ellen Pursehouse and Merle McEntyre of Telarah were defeated by Lorn Park team. Thanks to President Joy Partridge and all the Maitland City Ladies for the food served during the presentation.
