Repacholi finished 19th out of 38 competitors with his score of 557 points, two points short of the shoot-off for eighth place (with six competitors tied on 559), and three points off seventh place. He finished 28th in his other event, the 10-metre air pistol, on the first day of the Games.

Sunday’s result was his best placing in three Olympic campaigns, after finishing 36th and 23rd at Athens and 31st and 40th at Beijing.
