A North Wollongong convenience store was held up by a man brandishing a sword on Saturday evening.

Wollongong Police have called for the public’s help to track down the man, who entered the Bourke Street shop at about 5.45pm and threatened the female attendant with a sword.
He fled with cash and was last seen running west along Bourke Street.
No one was injured during the incident.
Police established a crime scene at the shop, and the Dog Unit conducted an extensive search of the surrounding area; however the man was not found.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 20-30 years of age, 165-175cm tall and of a skinny build.
He was last seen wearing black track suit pants and a navy blue hooded jumper.
