The competitions were held at Cessnock Library on July 1 and at Kurri Library on July 2.
This is the third year each library has ran the model-building competition.
Lego allowed the Libraries to borrow two barrels of Lego for free to allow them to run the competitions.
There were three divisions for the children, 5-7 years, 9-10 years and 11 plus, where a winner was selected from each group.
All children who participated received a certificate for their efforts.
Childrens Service Officer for Cessnock City Library, Sandy Ryan said it was a great event.
"It gets children away from screens and they use their imagination.
"It's just amazing."
