Police stopped and searched a man returning from Sydney to Cessnock about 4pm Tuesday. The allegedly found six grams of heroin on the 48-year-old.
Investigations led to the execution of a search warrant about 4.30pm at a home on Alkira Ave, Cessnock.
During the search warrant police seized a large quantity of suspected stolen electric power tools, cannabis leaf and cannabis seeds.
The 48-year-old man has been charged with drive whilst unlicensed, possess prohibited drug, supply prohibited drug - indictable amount, receive stolen goods, four counts of supply prohibited drugs and supply prohibited drug on an ongoing basis.
He was granted conditional bail to appear in Cessnock Local Court on Wednesday, August 13, 2014.
