Students from Kurri High School and its feeder primary schools were represented at EdFest last Tuesday evening.
One of the coordinators, Mulbring Public School principal Donna Lennard gave credit to all those involved.
“I was greatly impressed by the diversity and professionalism of the performers; they should be so very proud of themselves,” Ms. Lennard said.
This year’s art show component was judged by local artists Sharyn Street and Shan Turner-Carroll.
Art works from various mediums were displayed, including photography, sculpture, portraits, illustrations and a section dedicated to Indigenous art.
The quality of the work was outstanding and the task of making the final decisions on which pieces were to be awarded was a difficult one.
The schools thank Daracon Group, Kurri KFC and BP Service Station Stanford Merthyr for supporting this event.
