The festival will take place in the Cessnock TAFE grounds on Friday, September 12 and is a family-friendly event that you won’t want to miss.
The TAFE grounds will be transformed into a wonderland setting with lanterns made by local school students and members of the community combined with installations of lights and fires to provide a warm glow and first-class entertainment.
There will be interactive drumming with Samba Frog, face painting, storytelling, circus workshops and plenty of places to put your rugs around the fires and chill out.
The audience will be dazzled and amazed by the wonders of Danger Boy and his lovely assistant, Ivy, as they present their fiery street performance.
Live music will be provided by award-winning Hunter-based Celtic group Pumpkin Juice and the Kent Daniels’ Band.
Spring Awakening gets underway at 6pm.
