COUNTLESS cans of hairspray and an endless amount of creativity lead to some fascinating hairstyles and eye-popping make-up styles at Warrnambool’s City Memorial Bowl’s Club last night. 

The annual South West TAFE hair and beauty showcase showed off the talents of students in front of industry leaders, potential employers and their friends and family. 

Awards were also presented and TAFE hairdressing teacher and co-ordinatior Marcia McCarthy said the event provided students with excellent industry exposure and an opportunity to develop their professional portfolio.

More than 150 students took part in a range of categories featuring both men’s and women’s styling.
