The man was granted bail at the ACT Magistrates Court on Saturday morning on the condition he surrendered his passport and not approach within 100 metres of an airport, except in the course of his job.
The court heard the incidents occurred in early August 2013 and both of the counts of rape occurred on the same night. It's believed the same complainant was involved on both occasions.
The public prosecutor said the alleged rape had occurred in the context of the man's job as a cab driver but had no other information on the incident.
