The 10-round challenge started back in April and has been contested at tracks in Queensland, Victoria and NSW.
The challenge has been held in both junior and senior divisions and adding to that, a unique points system means that the grand champion can come from either of the two divisions.
The final two rounds of the challenge will be held back-to-back at Kurri Speedway this Saturday and Sunday.
International and domestic rider Tyson Nelson (Queensland) leads the senior solo challenge and the grand champion challenge on 96 points.
Victorian junior rider Cooper Riordan leads the junior solo challenge and has caused a surprise with his second place in the grand champion challenge standings on 85 points.
Another Queensland senior solo rider, Jake Allen is in third place overall on 80 points.
The NSW home-state challenge rests with Jack Holder (Appin), Keiran Sproule (Nepean) and Jye Etheridge (Buttai).
With two consecutive rounds to ultimately decide the speedway challenge, the NSW trio will have the last shot at victory.
The junior solo events will begin at 11am and the senior solo events will start at 1pm both days.
