Trainer John O'Shea said Friday week's Manikato Stakes at Moonee Valley was a possible goal for the filly before returning to her own age in the Coolmore Stakes.
"She will get in well at the weights in a race like the Manikato," O'Shea said.
Earthquake ($2.15 favourite) gave jockey Kerrin McEvoy a scare when she stumbled soon after the start, but she recovered and was strong in the closing stages despite conceding weight to placegetters Tawteen and More Radiant.
McEvoy landed a running treble, winning the following races on Hosting and Rubick.
■ Collingwood 1990 premiership player and media personality Michael Christian is fast making a name for himself in the racing game as an owner-breeder.
Christian was co-breeder and part-owner of Of The Brave, winner of the Debutant Stakes.
The colt is a half brother to top filly Eloping and the first Australian winner for Starspangledbanner, a Caulfield Guineas winner and Group 1-winning sire in England.
■ Favourite punters went home losers after Griante upset what seemed a match race between Shamal Wind ($2.45 favourite) and Girl Guide ($3.10) in the Sportingbet Series Final.
Griante, who had her admirers in firming from $12 to $8.50, scored by a half-length while Girl Guide was outsprinted and Shamal Wind was a half-length away third.
