Internet auction site eBay has more than 30 new listings for mementoes of the former PM, including a signed copy of his celebrated 1972 Blacktown policy speech.

The speech is a photocopy, 35 pages long with an original signature. The item description says it was bought at a charity auction in the late 1980s.

Listed at $495, as of Wednesday morning it had attracted no bids.

An original "It's Time" campaign poster signed by Mr Whitlam has generated a lot of interest, with 24 bidders pushing the price to $201 by 8am on Wednesday.

Vintage campaign badges, spruiking "We want Gough!" and "Give Gough a go" are also newly offered for sale, at a "buy it now" price of $95.

And in a tenuous link to the former political leader, a double-decker bus Mr Whitlam may have once sat inside has been newly listed for sale on Gumtree.

The Leyland bus was reportedly used by West Australian politician Adrian Bennett.

As the ad says: "Also said Gough Whitlam spent time in discussion with the party in the bus."
