As of Wednesday morning, Old North Road at Rothbury and Lomas Lane, Nulkaba remain closed.

A home in Buckland Avenue was completely flooded after a drain on the road became blocked and overflowed.

South Cessnock's Oliver Street drain reached capacity, causing worry for nearby residents (see more here).

West Cessnock was also hit hard, with water reportedly up to car doors on Wollombi Road (see more here).
