Trying to hide her new do, the reality TV star arrived in Paris wearing a fur Celine coat, leather leggings – and a beanie.

However, Kardashian, 34, lost some of the shock value while reuniting with husband Kanye West when her hat came loose, revealing the new hue.

Though sure enough, the mother-of-one still made a grand exit as she left the Le Royal Monceau hotel for the Balmain fashion show, offically revealing her blonde do for the paparazzi.

"It's not the first time she has attempted to derail fashion week – in New York, she dressed baby North West in a bulletproof vest on the Frow, for the love of God," The Guardian said.

After Kardashian posted the picture on Instagram, one commenter asked if her "child could ever be a normal baby girl and wear some colours, a bow? Anything? So sad what your [sic] doing to your child".

Similarly, this isn't the first time she has dyed her hair blonde either.

In 2013, Kardashian surprised onlookers when she arrived with long blonde hair at the 2nd annual Midori Green Halloween Party in New York.

Being able to go from dark hair to platinum blonde requires a healthy head of hair. Her secret, according to an interview with Into The Gloss, is not washing her hair every day.

"We start out with a blowout on day one, then we go into a messier vibe the next day, and then we flat iron it and do a really sleek look on day three since that requires a little oil in the hair, she said.

"Day four could be a slicked-back ponytail, and on the fifth day is when you wash it. That's a little excessive, maybe. [Laughs]"

While USA Today described her new hair as "insane" and the Daily Mail asked, "Is this her worst look yet?" The Guardian gave credit where credit is due, saying, "Kardashian, she could pull off a toga so we'll let this look settle before we decide."
