Quorrobolong twins Dylan and Jake Craft are showing cattle in this year’s Sydney Royal Easter Show for the third year, but 2015 will be a bit different for the pair.

The 18-year-olds got involved in showing beef cattle through their grandparents Alfie and Jeanette Smith a few years ago, who handed on their tricks of the trade from 35 years’ experience in the event.
Alfie sadly passed on February 16, leaving the Barraba Santa Gertrudis Stud to the twins.
They are now are hoping to bring home a ribbon from the show in honour of their grandfather.
The pair is showing five cattle between them this year, four heifers and one cow.
Jake and Dylan are confident in their chances, hoping that having four in the same class will help their chances of coming away with a win.
They have been busy preparing for the show, with four full months of grooming, feeding, and teaching them how to walk and stand each day and night.
They have shown the cattle at Morisset and Maitland earlier this year and will show them at Muswellbrook just the day before they head down to Sydney.
The state’s best gather for the show which starts on March 26, and the boys are looking forward to getting down there, catching up with fellow competitors and hopefully bringing home a ribbon or two.
The twins’ mum Linda said their grandparents are very proud that the boys have followed on in their footsteps.
