The whole school will dress in a nostalgia theme and students will be learning about life as it was in the 1950s relating to art, music, dance, games and literature.
Local resident Denzil Godwin recently brought his 1956 Chevy to the school for a photo shoot with the students, who were amazed that to open the window of the beautiful car required the turning of a handle.
The school will hold its bi-annual fete on Sunday, with local schools performing nostalgia-themed musical items, local dance studios and singers, market stalls, rides, a photo booth, vintage cars, trucks and motorbikes, food, ice cream and much more.
Gates will open at 9am, entry is free. All proceeds raised from the day will go to the school.
