Players donate raffle prizes and the money raised goes to the rescue squad, which this time around has resulted in a tremendous donation of $1134.75.
In total the bingo players have raised more than $1600 for the rescue squad.
Bingo ladies Kay Bain and Linda Donaldson put in a lot of time and effort for these donations to occur.
Squad spokesperson Chris Prince said the donations will buy vital rescue equipment to support the Cessnock and Kurri local communities.
“The donations allow the rescue squad to continue its extremely vital services in the community, free of charge, 24 hours a day, seven days a week,” he added.
