A combined under-19/third grade game will kick off at 11am, with reserve grade at 12.15pm, first grade at 1.30pm and the Knights juniors taking on Penrith afterwards.
Goannas coach Craig Miller has indicated that he will play his strongest possible squad as this will be the last hit out before Cessnock play Wests in the opening competition game.
Miller has had a good opportunity to assess the talent available with two previous trials so this game will be the last chance for players to push for a first grade spot.
Former Goannas Riley and Gene Brown will line up for Souths.
Reserve grade coach Dan Smailes is also keen to play his best squad as this will let him know where the team is at after two solid trial victories.
The football should be keenly contested; then following first grade the Knights play the top-of-the-table Penrith in under-16s; while the under-18s game will feature outstanding local junior Brodie Jones for the Knights.
