Both sides played solid football in a very entertaining first half that ended with the scores locked at 4-4.

The Hawks played well for the first 20 minutes of the second half but let the game slip away with dropped balls, silly penalties and two players sent to the sin bin.

Best for the Hawks were Shannon Harmey, Mick Davies and Trent Davies.
