The view outside Peden's Hotel and another of a bus on Vincent Street with the Royal Oak Hotel in the background are almost carbon copies of old photos found in an album at the Advertiser office.

Also following this week's flood, Sue Craft (granddaughter of former Peden's Hotel publican Bill Peden) brought in some photos of the 1949 flood at Peden's Hotel.

UPDATE: Athol Peden was able to identify the unknown men in the photos.
