The 42-year-old confirmed the news on Tuesday.

"I'm over the moon. It's the most wonderful thing that's ever happened to me," Hemmes told the Daily Telegraph.

A notorious playboy, Hemmes appears to be ready to settle down with his new flame, 25-year-old model Kate Fowler.

The couple have been together for less than a year, but Hemmes told the paper that the pregnancy was "planned".

Now five months along, Fowler is due to give birth in November.

The pair discovered they were expecting the day Justin's beloved father, John Hemmes, died.

"Dad actually looked at Kate and said he sensed she might be pregnant," Hemmes said of his father, who gave the couple his blessing.

The following day, a pregnancy test confirmed the news.

Fowler, a New Zealand native, is the daughter of professional golfer Peter "Chook" Fowler. Her sister, Georgia Fowler, is a well-known model.

Hemmes and Fowler live together in the Hemmes family's $60 million Vaucluse harbourfront property, the Hermitage.

Hemmes is said to have broken up with long-term girlfriend, yoga teacher and Bodypass co-founder, Carla McMillan in August last year.

Previously, Hemmes who has a portfolio of 50 bars, restaurants and hotels to his name, has been linked with Natalie Imbruglia, Lara Bingle, model Alexandra Agoston and actress Amber L'Estrange.
