The middle-aged lady, who preferred not to be named, had parked her car right near the door of the Coles complex at around 12.15pm on Monday.
She had gone inside for 10 minutes and then proceeded to drive away when she discovered her car had been struck three times on the windscreen.
The woman believes she has been targeted due to her parking in the disabled park, despite possessing a valid sticker for suffering from bilateral Achilles tendonitis.
“I just think that somebody has judged or felt that I wasn’t entitled to park there,” she said.
“It’s not up to somebody else to judge.”
She said that even though she only has to answer to a police officer or ranger regarding her disability status, the person who did this could have just asked her about her condition face to face.
“Instead of having the guts to ask [they’ve done this].
“I’m stunned that somebody could be such a coward, a self-righteous coward.”
Now, she will be out of pocket $600 for the cost to fix the windscreen, unless someone comes forward with information regarding the incident.
“I’m not in a position to afford to pay for a new windscreen,” she said.
“I hope what goes around comes around.”
Anyone with any information regarding the incident should contact Cessnock Police Station on 4991 0199.
