Margan has been a big supporter of the club since its reformation 10 years ago and has also coached and played the team to the finals in 2007.
It was the Reds’ return matchup against Cooks Hill, and the home side came out on top in the end with a 12-5 win.
The Pokolbin ranks were a bit thin on the day, but with Margan running on as captain and steering the Reds around the field, the ball was kept in close to the forwards for most of the game.
Corey Hope scored the Reds’ try; while Andrew Duff and Dylan Dower played above and beyond with good defence in the backs.
The Reds will travel to Medowie this Saturday for a 3pm game.
