Stirworz: Return of the Parody will hit the stage at Cessnock Performing Arts Centre this Friday and Saturday.
Parodying the events of Star Wars, Stirworz takes us back to a familiar galaxy but with some incredible surprises in store.
The show contains some great sequences featuring UV-light and sound effects, puppetry (with special appearances from the much-loved Kermit and Elmo), and some great parody songs and dances from popular artists such as Maroon 5, Bruno Mars, ACDC and the musical Grease.
The show is epic at two hours, boasts 70 plus performers and contains plenty of hilarious physical and intellectual jokes for kids and adults alike; a show for the whole family.
If you are a fan of the epic franchise, this will be sure to whet your appetite before the seventh film is released in December this year.
Stirworz: Return of the Parody will play Friday at 7pm, Saturday at 1pm and 7pm.
Tickets are available from the CPAC on 4990 7134 or www.cessnockperformingartscentre.com.au.
