The Goannas need to win the game to be assured of finishing in the top three, it is the traditional Old Boys Day and it just happens to be against the old enemy, the Bulldogs.
The team will also be raising money for the McGrath Foundation by wearing the organisation’s socks.
Goannas coach Craig Miller has put a lot of importance on the top three finish, stating that having to play sudden death football for a month is too great a hurdle to overcome.
Reserve grade have wrapped up a finals berth and will be keen to keep their momentum going.
Open age will play their final game of the year as they have missed out on the semi-finals, but their form at the back end of the year has been solid, a credit to coach Ethan Hodson.
This week will also be the final Peden’s Kick For Cash for the season with David ‘Jacko’ Jackson testing his skills.
