Fairfull was nominated by Greta Branxton FC for her commitment to the club and willingness to take on multiple committee roles to ensure the club’s continued success.
“After stepping into a second demanding committee role during the 2015 season, Lauren has shown true dedication to Greta Branxton FC and the Newcastle Permanent Volunteer of the Month Award is well deserved,” Northern NSW Football community football manager Peter Haynes said.
The award is part of NNSW Football’s community partnership with Newcastle Permanent.
Fairfull received a volunteer jacket and bag courtesy of Newcastle Permanent to assist in continuing to fulfil her valuable role at the club.
Newcastle Permanent chief executive officer Terry Millett congratulated Fairfull on receiving the award.
“We are delighted that local volunteers have received these awards and have been recognised across Northern NSW for the incredible commitment they make to community football,” Mr. Millett said.
