With shows at 11am and 3pm, years 9-to-12 students are encouraged to attend with parents, relatives and friends all welcome.
A range of mental health activities have been organised for the month of October (Mental Health Month) by Cessnock Youth Centre and Outreach Service (CYCOS).
CYCOS coordinator Will Doran said the free performances are timely, with local senior students kicking off their HSC exams this week.
“Wired looks at the physiology and causes of stress and depression associated with the pressure of exams, relationships and everyday life,” Mr Doran said.
Cessnock Mayor Bob Pynsent is pleased to see mental health support for local youth.
“These plays will deal with critical issues such as stress, overload and depression—things every young person will likely deal with at one point or another,” Cr Pynsent said.
“The audience has the opportunity to see the characters play out their options when placed in these difficult situations.”
Wired has received rave reviews across Australia for its sophisticated script and contemporary music instantly engaging even the most cynical audience.

Walk-ins will also be accepted on the day.
