According to event organisers, the awards are designed to embody excellence and professionalism in the real estate industry.
LJ Hooker Cessnock and Kurri principal Bryce Gibson said he was humbled to be taken the statues home for a second year in a row.
“We are very proud to be named the leader in community service and innovation once again. This award is truly testament to the time and effort we spend to ensure our office is at the leading edge of real estate,” he said.
Cystic fibrosis and breast cancer are among the causes LJ Hooker Cessnock and Kurri has supported this year.
In October, the office raised more than $1000 for breast cancer research through its Pimp My Bra initiative, and collected over 200 bras for the Uplift Project (which donates bras to women in underprivileged countries).
“We know that our business thrives because of the support of the local community as such we are always looking at ways to give back,” Mr Gibson said.
Estate Agents Cooperative NSW CEO, David Crombie said the awards were recognition for all the hard work and effort made by individuals and businesses who are consistently promoting excellence and best practice in the real estate profession.
“All of the award winners have displayed a level of skill, ingenuity, and professionalism, that is second to none and we look forward to supporting all of them in their quest for recognition at the national awards for excellence in 2016,” Mr Crombie said.
Winners from the NSW awards progress to the REIA National Awards for Excellence in Melbourne in March 10.
