The 2015 NSW Tourism Awards were announced at a gala dinner at Darling Harbour last Thursday.
Chateau Elan at The Vintage won the best luxury accommodation award for the third year running, and was also named best business event venue for the second consecutive year.
Margan Wines received the award for excellence in food tourism and took out the tourism wineries, distilleries and breweries category.
Winners from 26 categories will advance to the 2015 QANTAS Australian Tourism Awards to be held in Melbourne in February.
“Tourism is a vital contributor to the NSW economy, and the hard work and commitment of all the businesses that have taken part in the 2015 NSW Tourism Awards should be commended; particularly for the role they play in making NSW Australia’s leading tourism destination,” NSW Business Chamber chief executive, Stephen Cartwright said.
“I continue to be impressed by the calibre of tourism businesses in NSW; and with an incredibly strong field of innovative, high quality providers representing NSW, I am confident our reputation for excellence will once again be reflected at the national awards.”
