After a delayed start to the match due to some showers on Friday night, the Warriors lost the toss and were sent in on a difficult wicket, but openers Josh Tuckwell (76) and Casey Capper (60) got the team off to a flying start.
The Easts bowlers had no answers as Jake Gordon (77) and Mick Heinrich (63) kept the scoreboard ticking over at more than six runs an over.
At stumps on Saturday, Kurri-Weston was 8/319 after 50 overs and decided to declare straight away on Sunday morning in search of an outright victory.
Heinrich (5/34) capped off a brilliant individual performance to bowl Easts out for 133 in their first innings. Jono Hickey (2/8) and Cameron Bates (2/34) were the other wicket-takers.
With 28 overs left in the day, Kurri-Weston decided to send Easts back into bat. Bates (2/15) struck early with the new ball to give them a sniff, but Easts dug in and when stumps were pulled it was 3/69.
Second grade also put in a good performance, starting their two-day game on Saturday against Easts and posting 6/303 from 74 overs. The highlight was club legend Dasher Fairfull turning back to clock to notch an impressive 107 not out batting at number seven.
Billy Jack (70) continued his good recent form, as well as Troy Rees (35) and Daniel Chapple (35), who all contributed to the healthy total.
They will be looking for early wickets on Saturday to get the victory, and if other results go their way, sneak into the semi-finals.
All lower grades were again washed out, continuing the frustrating run since the Christmas break.
