The afternoon get-together and dinner at Potters Brewery on April 19 involved Mrs Cameron, Group Officers, members and children from Cessnock, Cessnock Evening, Maitland, East Maitland, Branxton/Greta and Lower Belford branches.
It was an opportunity for those not attending the State CWA annual meeting at Cowra in May to meet Mrs Cameron.
There are 30 CWA groups in NSW, and 26 branches in the Hunter River Group – extending from Belmont to Murrurundi, Nelson Bay, Dungog and Merriwa.
Mrs Cameron lives at Rowena in the Barwon Group and spent five days in the region meeting members and families of the Hunter River Group.
