May also means that Hunter Valley Wine & Food Festival is officially upon us. Foodies can experience a Chef’s Plate special at a number of top class locations, where one can enjoy a wonderful meal and glass of wine from as little as $39.
The two-month festival will kick off with some great signature events including Margan's White Label Lunch on the May 7 and 14, Lovedale Long Lunch on May 14-15, the Wedding Reception Interactive Theatre at Hunter Resort on May 17, Behind the Barrels Winemaker Dinner at Bimbadgen on May 21, the Epicurean Club dinner at the Vintage on May 26 and a series of intimate fireside dinners at Hunter Resort each Friday during May and continuing on in June.
