Police and emergency services are searching dense bushland near Moruya on the NSW south coast for a woman believed to have gone missing while bushwalking.

The 65-year-old United States national was last seen about 3pm on Saturday when she left for a bushwalk in the Deua River Valley.
She was reported missing about 9am on Sunday after she had not returned.
Far South Coast police, NSW SES and the Westpac Helicopter began a wide-scale land and air search near Deua National Park.
The woman was described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 178cm tall, of solid build, with short blonde hair.
She was last seen wearing capri-style pants and a light-coloured top.
