Harmony Day is held annually in March to celebrate Australia’s diversity, inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone.
The committee is looking for people to help with coordinating food stalls, performers and multicultural information and market stalls.
The committee meets at least once a month in the initial stages of planning and meetings will become more frequent closer to the event.
The 2017 Cessnock Harmony Day Festival will be held on March 18.
