Jesse Knight, 13, will play for the Newcastle 2 team at the under-15 boys state championships in Tamworth this weekend.
Jesse was a member of the Newcastle 2 under-13s team that won the Division 3 state title last year.
Jasmine Knight, 14, will represent Hunter at the under-15 girls titles in Taree in June.
Their younger brother Kaiden Smith, nine, will play for the Newcastle 2 team for the under-11 boys championships in Tamworth in July.
The siblings’ mum Erin Jackson said they are very proud to have made it this far in their chosen sport and to represent Cessnock and the Hunter area.
Jesse said he enjoys the skills that you learn from hockey; Jasmine likes the competition and Kaiden likes making friends through sport.
UPDATE: Jesse’s Newcastle 2 team placed third at the state championships, against some tough competition in cold weather conditions.
