Organiser Annise Russell said it’s an event that the whole family can enjoy.
“The atmosphere is relaxed with fire pits and heaters spread around for people to sit around while they enjoy some great tunes,” Ms Russell said.
“People bring along a camp chair or picnic blanket for their comfort.”
Tim Usher and 2 & 1/2 Chix, who performed last year, are on the lineup once again.
They will be joined by recent CMAA Junior Academy of Country Music graduate Finnian Johnson and The Boundary Riders (featuring Larry Hughes and his son Ben).
Tickets are $10 and are limited to 150 (children under 10 are free). Admission includes a roast meat and gravy roll.
Cold platters can be pre-ordered from the bistro for $25 (orders must be placed by Friday night – call 4998 1277).
A courtesy bus will run from Cessnock Leagues Club to Paxton Bowling Club and back throughout the day.
Doors will open at 2pm.
