Nathan Morris scored from a penalty in the first half and Patrick Wand hit the back of the net in the second from a free kick to even the scores.
The Bears had led 1-0 at half-time, but Valentine scored just after the break and added a second 10 minutes later.
“We had five players out through injury or suspension, I was very proud of the effort,” Bears coach Trevor Morris said.
“We had two shots hit the post and had another three or four chances saved on the line with scrambling defence and a couple of great saves by their keeper.”
The Bears under 22s had a 1-1 draw against Valentine whilst the under 19s had a 2-1 win. Both of these sides can make the playoffs.
On Sunday the four Bears Youth team played Valentine as well with the under 17s losing 3-2, under-15 won 1-0, the under 14s had a 2-0 win and the 13s won 7-1.
