The strategy includes town centre masterplans for both Kurri Kurri and Weston.
Community drop-in sessions will be held at Kurri Kurri Library on Saturday, July 23 from 9am to 12pm and Weston Civic Centre on Monday, July 25 from 10am to 12pm.
Cessnock Mayor Bob Pynsent said this plan considers what the community’s needs are now and down the track.
“People who live or work in Kurri or Weston can join the conversation online or attend one of the community drop-in sessions,” Cr Pynsent said.
“This is great opportunity to share your thoughts about what makes the area unique or what changes you think could bring positive benefits.”
The online survey closes Friday, August 12.
