Tyrrell's Vineyards’ Vat 1 semillon took out the NSW Department of Primary Industries James Busby Perpetual Trophy for best NSW wine.
Brokenwood's 2009 reserve semillon won two trophies, the David Clarke Memorial Perpetual Trophy for best semillon and the Dr Henry John Lindeman Memorial Perpetual Prize for best mature white.
The Dan Murphy's Value Perennial Trophy for best value white was awarded to De Iuliis Wines for its 2016 semillon.
Sydney Royal Wine Show committee chair Lyndey Milan said she was pleased to see the show's history of innovation and excellence continuing this year.
"This year has truly been testament to the outstanding standard of excellence we see in both the range of wines, year on year and the standard of judging," she said.
A total of 146 gold medals, 276 silver medals and 700 bronze medals were awarded at the show.
