Marks proudly showed off her medals at Maitland’s Super Strike bowling centre on Monday night where she is a regular bowler.
She won gold last year in Queensland and at this year’s titles, an effort which helped her collect the senior athlete with a disability award at the 2015 Cessnock City Sportsperson of the Year awards .
“It was very exciting to win again,” she said.
“It was freezing cold down there. I did very well I averaged 155 in the two competitions.”
Marks, who has been tenpin bowling for 25 years, said her latest medals took her career tally to 165.
“I love bowling, it is so much fun and you get to travel and meet lots of people,” she said.
Marks embarks on her next campaign later this month, when she will be one of the favourites going into the tenpin bowling competition at the Special Olympics in Sydney.
