Last Thursday local police were patrolling Old Maitland Road, Cessnock when they came across an Apple brand iPod, silver in colour, with a black case and stickers lying on the side of the road.
The property was collected by police with the hope that an owner will make enquiries to collect it.
Robbery at Shell
Service Station Kurri
In the early hours of Monday morning, two male suspects held up the Shell Service Station on Lang Street, Kurri.
The two offenders stole a sum of money, some confectionery items and cigarettes before decamping from the store.
Suspect one is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 165cm tall, wearing a light grey hooded jumper and long pants.
Suspect two is a Caucasian male, approximately 152cm tall, wearing a dark coloured hooded jumper and long pants.
Slashed tyre at Paxton
On Sunday evening a male parked his vehicle in Francis Street, Paxton.
He returned to his vehicle the following morning to discover that someone slashed one of the tyres.
One week old
lambs stolen
Sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning offenders entered property on Majors Lane, Sawyers Gully.
Once on the property they stole seven Wiltshire Horn lambs from one of the paddocks on that property.
The lambs were only one week old.
This incident was reported to police and is being investigated by Central Hunter Rural Crime.
