The Listies will bring their award-winning show 6D (*It’s Twice as Good as 3D) to Cessnock Performing Arts Centre on Thursday, September 29.
Matt Kelly and Richard Higgins are The Listies, a comedy duo quickly making a name for themselves as Australia's favourite live comedy act for kids.
Irreverent and infectiously engaging, this home-grown double act shatter the fourth wall to create unique theatrical experiences that delight both young audiences and their families alike.
Anarchic, unruly and guaranteed to have the whole family (even dads) rolling in the aisles, the Listies forgo the usual pitfalls of kids’ entertainment like fairies and princesses and instead stuff their shows with all the things that kids really love (like fart jokes and vomiting puppets).
The Listies create an interactive atmosphere to tell stories set in the world of kids by parodying pop culture, celebrities, parents, computer games and txt-speak.
A sketch comedy show all about the movies, expect haunted backpacks, ninja nans, toilet paper guns and an actual movie made at every performance on a helmet mounted GoPro – they may even film it and put it on Youtube!
The show will start at 11am and tickets on sale at the CPAC box office, by phone on 4990 7134 or online at cessnockperformingartscentre.com.au.
