The nationwide survey identifies the types, numbers, and locations of bird species living in Australia.
Participants will spend 20 minutes outside counting and identifying every bird they see before uploading their findings to aussiebirdcount.org.au or via the Aussie Bird Count app.
The count is conducted by bird conservation organisation BirdLife Australia.
