The Newcastle and Hunter Truck Show and Transport Awareness Day saw the kings of the road rumble out from Sandgate early on Saturday morning.
Ryan Skeffington from Rynos Haulage bid $1000 to head the convoy, which was blessed by father Chris Bird as it headed to Maitland for the region’s biggest truck show and shine of the year.
