The festival will be held at the historic gaol on November 5 and 6, 2016 will mark the 10th year of the festival.
Two stages will pump out live music paired perfectly with the massive craft beer selection on tap.
Saturday will kick off with Elwood Myre on the main stage at 10.30am.
Rising force William Crighton will take the main stage at 1.10pm, Gypsy & The Cat at 2.40pm and first day headliners the Jungle Giants at 4.10pm.
Sunday will start off with the Buzzard Mix on the main stage at 10.15am, Cheap Fakes at 11.30am, Hey Geronimo at 1pm and Ash Grunwald will close out the festival from 2.30pm.
Shep Huntly will turn the second stage into the Emporium of the Strange – featuring Australia’s best street performers blowing minds throughout the weekend.
Shep will introduce acts known for insane feats of human strength, contortion, comedy and surprise.
Among them are Duke Dreamer, JP Koala and Ruby Rubberlegs – a colourful contrast with the live music on the other side of the iconic venue.
But the biggest headlining acts of Bitter and Twisted are, of course, the 80-plus exotic, artisan and awesome beers.
From Morpeth to Modus, the breweries pouring at the festival are second to none.
