Branxton Community Hall was awash with pink on October 12 for a high tea that raised funds for women’s cancer.

The high tea was a great success with more than $2300 raised for the Cancer Council.
The 130 guests were treated to pink champagne, delicious treats, gorgeous gifts and a fashion parade.
“The event reflected the amazing community spirit that exists in our region, with local businesses throwing their support behind the high tea,” high tea coordinator Helen Scott said.
“We look forward to next year’s event.”
Cessnock City Motor Group donated $250 to the Cancer Council on behalf of the Branxton High Tea Committee.
Other event supporters included Branxton CWA, the Crib Box, Branxton Bakery, IGA, the Branxton Op Shop, Kerrin’s Kandles, Recommended Resumes, Sue’s Clothing and Lady Franklin’s Hats.
