Things have come a long way since beginning teaching as a schoolgirl out of her parent’s back shed and holding her first concert in the Abermain Plaza Hall.

Shayne’s Tap ‘n’ Groove is looking for people to GET KEEN IN 2017!!!

They have plenty in store to celebrate this milestone and hope that the year will be fun-filled culminating in a BIG 30th Concert at the end of the year.

With lots of students wanting to learn some ACRO, Shayne has employed qualified gymnastic teachers to ensure students learn correct technique.

This means injuries can be avoided and everyone can look amazing!

Shayne is very aware that students want to try as many things as possible, however, the budget isn’t always as accommodating so she has joined up some of the more popular classes to enable students to do as much as possible with minimum financial outlay.

“Fun, fun, fun” underpins all elements of the studio, which is why so many people are hooked.

Shayne is thrilled to welcome back her returning students and looking forward to meeting her new ones.

Her Tiny Tots Combo class is designed to give  pre-schoolers and kindies a taste of tap, jazz and ballet without them having to be in lengthy and costly classes.

They  engage in ballet skills, tap skills and jazz skills in a class especially designed to keep moving and keep their interest. 

Shayne’s passion is helping children reach their full potential and feel good about themselves, which is why she has enjoyed teaching dancing for the past 30 years and why she loves her job as a teacher at St. Patrick’s School, Cessnock.

Shayne specializes in using exercises that enable the left and right sides of the brain make more connections.

This unleashes a greater potential for learning.
